The Ampfield Market (Est. 2000) is now celebrating it's 18th successful year. The Market is always on the first Saturday of the month excluding January and August which are holiday months. It takes place in Ampfield Village Hall (SO51 9BJ), between 10am and 12 noon. Parking and admission are free.

The Market has become a very popular meeting place, offering the best value, most delicious refreshments in Hampshire! Every effort is made to keep the sales tables lively and interesting. There are top quality, locally sourced items for sale including sweet and savoury foods, fresh bread, eggs, fruit and veg, plants, crafts, books, pet accessories, cards, wrapping paper, jewellery and collectables. The Romsey Country Market is one of our major contributors. Market Fresh supplies us with seasonal fruit and vegetables. Tatchbury Manor Farm supplies us with award winning pork products.

To date the Market has raised over £20,000 for Hall funds. The Market team, Claire, Diane, Molly and Sue generously volunteer their time and baking skills to provide a delicious seasonal selection of cakes every month.
Our new patio area is now complete and ready to use once the weather warms up !

Plans are in place for a patio area which will provide attractive outdoor seating for all our customers.
Market Fresh supplies us with seasonal fruit and vegetables, there is a great demand for their produce which is available at other times of the month as part of their box scheme which can be delivered direct to your door. The Catch Up Café and IT Support Service in Ampfield Village Hall. (SO51 9BJ)

The Catch Up Café takes place in the Ampfield Village Hall Faber Garden Room every Thursday morning between 9.30am and 11.30am, serving fresh seasonal cakes, coffee and tea. The Cafeé is run entirely by volunteers and all the proceeds go to Village Hall funds.

Once a month there will be a baking demonstration in the Cafe'. Thursday 8th March - 10am - 11.30am Hot Cross Buns. Hot Cross buns are a wonderful treat at this time of the year. Home made buns are easy to make and totally surpass shop bought ones by a mile ... particularly when they contain extra ingredients such as apple. Come and see a demonstration of these luxury hot cross buns being made, sample them fresh from the oven and take the recipe home to make them yourself. The demonstration will last about an hour.

The IT Support Service runs along side the Café in the Committee Room on Thursday mornings, offering friendly and informal help or advice for your Phone, Tablet, Laptop or PC This Service is free but a donation to Village Hall Funds would be most welcome.
